CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:

Yoga Therapy: more individualized attention and sequences and specific topics for remedial practice for injuries/conditions. Students with medical issues should seek doctor’s permission before beginning any exercise program or attending classes.

Iyengar Yoga Foundations New to yoga, the Iyengar Method or resuming Iyengar Yoga after a break, learning foundations to establish a practice, learning how to navigate conditions, for those who want to work on foundations or need a slower pace. Students with medical issues should seek doctor’s permission before beginning any exercise program or attending classes.  Continuing Foundational classes for experienced beginners, and experienced continuing students  to focus on foundations, including remedial therapeutic applications of yoga practice to remove obstacles to yoga. Learn how to navigate problems and issues (physical/physiological/mental/emotional).

Continuing For students working to establish regularity of yoga practice and study and to intensify and diversify practice. Students with medical issues should seek doctor’s permission before beginning any exercise program or attending classes.

Levels 2-4  Intermediate Iyengar Yoga   Intermediate: Students of 2 years minimum Iyengar Yoga Study with an established Iyengar Yoga practice.  1 hr. 30 minutes. Challenging practice for experienced students with a regular established Iyengar Yoga practice that includes inversions. Students have experience with navigating their problems through practice, but may need some extra guidance and direction when facing acute issues.

Levels 3-4 Intermediate/Advanced/Exploring Iyengar Yoga Theory in Practice Intermediate/Advanced: Challenging class for students of 5 years minimum Iyengar Yoga Study exploring an expansive range of āsana with an established, self-directed daily Iyengar Yoga practice, including inversions (Sirsasana and Sarvangasana variations) and pranayama. Requires Jennifer’s permission in advance. 2 hrs

Class Video Library Discounts for Current Students: Registering for 1-2 classes per week, video class library is 50% off. Recordings of missed online classes will be sent to all registered students. Students may choose to receive recording only

10 or more (1.5 hr.)classes $20/each with advance registration by May 31. Advanced 2 hr. Single Class $35 or $30/each with minimum 5, with advance registration by May 31.

Classes with low enrollment will be cancelled, limited space for in-person attendance so please register early and in advance. Students who register for early bird volume discount will receive that discount for the rest of the summer when adding additional classes. In case of cancellations or schedule changes, students are able to make up missed classes through August or receive the video of the class recording.
